Brittany Costa is originally from Massachusetts, she moved to Colorado in 2019. She has earned a bachelor of music degree in clarinet performance in 2011 at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, a master of science degree in arts administration, focusing on nonprofit music organizations, in 2014 at Boston University, and started a master of music in music therapy in 2018 at Augsburg University. In addition to her civilian education, Brittany also has an extensive military education. Brittany has been serving in the US Army since 2006 and currently serves in the Colorado Army National Guard. Her military training includes Warrior Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, Equal Opportunity Leader Course, Suicide Intervention Officer Course, and Combat Life Savers Course. She is enlisted and currently holds the rank of staff sergeant (E6).

Brittany has been playing clarinet for over twenty years and flute, saxophone, guitar, piano, and voice for three years. Brittany offers beginner music lessons in clarinet, flute, saxophone, guitar, piano, and voice, as well as advanced lessons in clarinet.

Brittany is completed her graduate level music therapy internship at Creative Remedies as part of a graduation requirement to complete her masters in music therapy. Her work is focused in psych, trauma, grief and loss, and music education. She offers individual and group sessions.
